    Of course, they should have just left the first enjoyable Mummy picture as a standalone. Sequels might be okay if they actually bothered to put as much effort into the scripts as they do into the CGI-gasms that usually results from these cash-seeking movies.

    Mummy 3 would have been improved by four things: Rachel Weisz, Fraser being used more, proper comedy, and a better back-story for the Emperor. The first mummy had a tragic romance that worked very well, but Jet Li has nothing to play here. He's just a bad 'un, through and through. Bland.
